Feature Suggestion: Support for BaseURL + API Key Integration
I would like to submit a feature suggestion regarding PromptDC’s integration capabilities. Currently, access appears to rely primarily on internal key management or browser-based authentication. To improve flexibility and reliability, I strongly recommend that PromptDC provide an option to configure API access using a customizable BaseURL and API Key combination. Specifically, allowing users to: Define a custom BaseURL Enter their own API Key Directly connect through standard OpenAI-compatible API endpoints This approach would provide several benefits: Greater stability when browser extensions or local integrations fail. Improved compatibility with third-party tools and custom development environments. Easier troubleshooting by isolating authentication and routing issues. Support for enterprise or proxy-based deployments where a custom BaseURL is required. Many modern AI tools now support OpenAI-compatible BaseURL + Key configurations, which has become a de facto integration standard. Enabling this in PromptDC would significantly enhance developer flexibility and reduce service disruption risk. As a Lifetime subscriber, I believe this feature would meaningfully improve the long-term value and technical robustness of the product. Thank you for considering this suggestion.

Subject: Technical Issues & Support Request - PromptDC Developer Lifetime
Hello, I have a PromptDC Developer Lifetime subscription that has been active since January 17th. Initially, everything worked perfectly with WindSurf on both my work and home PCs. However, the service stopped working a few days ago on both machines. I am encountering the following issues: In WindSurf: Every time I use the shortcut Ctrl+Alt+E, I get a "No text found" error message. I have verified that there is indeed text in my clipboard (I can paste it into Notepad without any issue). Chrome Extension: The extension is asking me to enter my OpenAI API key to access the service, even though my key is already correctly saved in my PromptDC account settings. I tried generating a new OpenAI API Key, but this did not solve the issue. Consequently, I am currently unable to use PromptDC at all. Furthermore, the Lifetime subscription states a support response time of under 8 hours. I emailed you two days ago regarding this issue and have not received a reply yet.
